Ok, so this week I'm teaching VBS, the 4th and 5th graders. I think Monday went pretty well. I'm hoping the stuff for our prayer pockets comes this afternoon.
My driver's license needs to be renewed. Hopefully I'll remember that tomorrow and do that on my way to finish this weeks class work and grocery shopping.
and Jo's insurance is all screwed up because we didn't put her birthmark down on her application. but I'm really trying not to stress out over that. We can't do a thing until we get the letter.
I might try to add some pics some time soon, but with VBS, working, class, and a 10 month old trouble-maker running loose it could still be a while.

Busy Times
Ok, so I'm taking an internet class on computers and applications, and I learned how to start a blog. So since then I have a JOB! I'm now the assistant manager at Gladbrook Theater and Matchstick Marvels. Pretty cool huh! Ok, the working on weekends thing sucks, but I get every other weekend off. Part-time job so in theory I'll get to keep taking classes part-time. (BTW I'm getting an A so far) Next week, I'll be teaching Vacation Bible School, too. So I'm a little more over-committed than I prefer to be, but in a good way.

Hello!
So, welcome to my blog! This will probably be the most boring thing on the entire internet.
I live on a farm in Iowa. Married, 2 kids: son 8 yrs, daughter 10 mos, 2 dogs: 12 years and 5 years. I'm unemployed and to take classes at the local community college for accounting. So far the only class I'm taking is a computer class, and it gave directions on how to create a blog. The last time I was in college didn't go so well, but I was studying physics and astronomy.
In addition to class, I'm trying my hand at vegetable gardening this year. Also, my grandmother gave me her sewing machine, so I'm trying a few sewing projects. We also have a few camping trips planned for our pop-up camper. I also need to exercise more and lose weight.
I suspect most of my posts will be about my family, gardening, sewing, looking for a job, school, exercising, and camping. There might be a bit of rambling about some opinion or other, too. I do not anticipate this being very fun for anyone, but thought I'd stick it up anyway. Thanks for stopping by.
